Rita

Our beautiful Rita passed away yesterday.  We were so blessed to have been with her.  She was born in the wild and chose us to raise her kittens and be her family.  We have enjoyed her company for almost 8 years now, and her love and companionship are going to be irreplaceable.  We are relieved that she is no longer in pain, but are mourning her sudden loss.  Rest in peace, my sweet Rita girl.

Big, fast and tall

Beckett had his four year old check-up today.  He has gained 6 pounds and 3 inches in the last year.  At 43" and over 41 pounds, he is in the 93rd percentile for height and 85th percentile for weight.

David had a great 41st birthday... celebrating by riding roller coasters with Tallula, cheering Beckett on at bumper cars,  going out to lunch with his sister-in-law, and eating his favorite cheese cake at the river!  Here's to many many more adventures together!
