Beckett had his 2 year-old check -up and he is now 30 pounds and 36 1/4 inches tall (almost 4 pounds heavier and 1 inch taller than Tallula was at 2), which puts him in the 90th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. The Singulair seems to be working in keeping his allergies at bay, and while he is fighting a cold right now, no more asthma symptoms.
We did have a brief scare when the pediatrian heard a heart murmur. He sent us to a pediatric cardiologist who confirmed the murmur and combined with a slighltly abnormal EKG, thought that Beckett might have a hole in his heart. But the little guy is very blessed, and his echo showed no signs of any damage, holes, or abnormalities. An innocent murmur, and his heart is completely healthy. Yeah!!!!
Tallula had her final immunizations for kindergarten (3 shots!) as well. We are all very happy this busy week is over!
