Beckett had a great appointment at Children's Hospital on Thursday. He liked the Orthopedist, Dr. Friend. The X-rays showed no problems with his leg length or bones. He will have one additional bone scan at the hospital, which will be scheduled next week. Dr. Friend is discussing Beckett's unusual case with is colleagues, and has referred us to a Pediatric Rheumatologist in Manhattan. He said she is the expert in unexplained autoimmune responses. In the meantime, he also thinks it might be worth looking into blood disorders and infectious diseases (neither of which he has been tested before, and can cause knee pain and rashes).
Tallula came home from school on Thursday with a stomach bug, and has been throwing up. She is home from school today. Please keep her in your prayers as well.
